Happy Birthday Makenna & Merry Christmas!

Our sweet little angel turned 3 last week in Mexico. She was definitely in her element, with the pool, the beach, the sun, the daiquiris - she could definitely live in the tropics! We had a great trip, the resort was beautiful, the food was delicious, the weather was perfect - it was so peaceful. 10 days was not long enough! We also celebrated Christmas while we were there - and of course Makenna sang her usual birthday song to Jesus. We can't imagine spending this special day anywhere else. We had to prepare for the trip with a pedicure of course!
The limo ride to the airport!

Lounging by the pool....rough! Makenna was introduced to the pool bar early on - where she learned her favorite drink is a strawberry daiquiri ! A few days into the trip, I heard her yell across the pool - "Daddy lets go to the bar and get a daiquiri"

She was really busy..but we managed to get her to quickly show us how old she was.
Playing at the beach with Gigi & Julie She loved eating ice cream every night!
Building sand castles with JonPa.

Happy Birthday Makenna :)
She traded the sombrero for her princess crown, much more fitting!

She had a crush on J.C.....such a little flirt.

We went to Xcaret again this year, Makenna had a blast!

We all took a leisurely boat ride to take in the beautiful scenery.

Mimi & Kenna at the Hibachi restaurant
Playing barbies with JonPa in the cabana.

Daddy, Uncle Ty & JC went deep sea fishing - & Daddy caught an Amberjack (a really big one!)

The shopping center at the resort had a carousel - how lucky were we!
Too many daiquiris!
This is one of our favorite pictures :)
Happy Birthday Jesus!
Our little princess - Happy Birthday sweetie, thank you for being such an amazing blessing to all of us. We love you more than you will ever know.

She learned how to swim with just her floaties - she loved being able to swim "all by herself". She is singing Merry Christmas in spanish - Feliz Navidad!
